Goran Petrović

Goran Petrović, born in 1961 in Kraljevo, studied Yugoslavian and Serbian literature in Belgrade and works as a reader for publishers. He is one of the most significant and most read authors in Serbia. His novels and stories have been awarded almost all the important national prizes for literature, and in 2000 he received the NIN Award for Sitničarnica „Kod srećne ruke“ (title of the English translation: Smalltalk Place at “Lucky Shot”). The novel is a literary bestseller in Serbia and has been translated into many languages. Goran Petrović lives in Belgrade.
