Fatos Lubonja

Fatos Lubonja, born in Tirana in 1951, is an Albanian author and dissident. He has authored several novels and essays and also writes for several newspapers. His publications include Ridënimi (Second Sentence: Inside the Albanian Gulag), an account of his time in Albanian prison camps. 2004 he was awarded the Herder Award for literature.
