Elena Prendjova

Elena Prendjova is a poet, a slam poet and a poetry translator from English into Macedonian and vice versa, as well as from Serbian into Macedonian. She holds an M.A. in Philology Science and a B.A. in English Language and Literature. She works as an ESL teacher and a full-time translator at a state university, and also mentors creative writing and poetry slam workshops. She is the national coordinator of the Poetry Slam Macedonia group. She is the author of 9 full-length poetry collections and the translator of 2 full-length poetry collections from English. She has translated the children’s short novel Ja sam Akiko for the Traduki network.
