Dušan Čater

Dušan Čater, born in 1968 in Celje, is one of the most significant contemporary writers in Slovenia. He studied journalism and sociology at the University of Ljubljana. He worked as an editor at the Karantanija publishing house and wrote columns for several newspapers. He has been a freelance writer since 1995. He is author of 7 novels and books of short stories, several children’s books as well as biographies of Marilyn Monroe, Oscar Wilde and Giacomo Casanova.
