Denisa Duran

Denisa Duran, born in 1980, studied English, Romanian and literature at the University of Bucharest. After graduating, she worked as a journalist, translator and manager in the cultural sector. Her publications as an author include several volumes of poetry, the first three published under the pseudonym Denisa Mirena Pișcu. Her poems have been translated into Slovene, Spanish, English and Bulgarian, among others. She has also participated in several theatre performances as an author. She lives and works in Bucharest.
