Christoph Meckel

Christoph Meckel was born in 1935 in Berlin, where he still lives today. He studied Graphics in Freiburg, Munich and Paris. In 1956 he published his first book of poems and etchings under the title Tarnkappe [Magic Hood]. Since then, numerous publications as a writer and graphic designer have followed. For his work he was awarded, amongst others, the Rainer-Maria-Rilke-Prize and the Georg-Trakl-Prize.
