Andreas Steinhöfel

Andreas Steinhöfel was born in 1962 in Battenberg, Germany. He works as a translator, reviewer and playwright – but first of all, he is the author of numerous and prize-winning books for children and young people. His bestseller „Die Mitte der Welt“ was nominated in 1999 for the German Prize for Youth Literature and has been published in many countries. Andreas Steinhöfel was awarded the Erich Kästner Prize in 2009.
