Alois Niederstätter

Alois Niederstätter was born in 1955 in Bregenz. He studied history and German philology in Salzburg. He obtained his PhD in 1980 and later on became professor for auxiliary sciences of history and Alemannian history. Alois Niederstätter is member of the Institute for Austrian Historical Research, director of the archive of Vorarlberg, and university professor.
