Aleksandar Zograf

Aleksandar Zograf (actually Saša Rakezić), born in Pančevo in 1963, is a Serbian comic artist. His works are translated into over 15 languages, for example English and French, and have been published by Fantagraphics (USA) and L’Association (F) amongst others. As a comic author and artist he has been working for the weekly magazine Vreme since 2003. In his work he explores issues ranging from archaeology to WWII. The latter provided material for his collection of 30 comic vignettes, recently published in German translation under the title Partisanenpost (2020) by bahoe books.
