Katharina Hacker

Katharina Hacker was born in 1967 in Frankfurt. She studied philosophy, history and Jewish studies in Freiburg and Jerusalem. She had worked many years in Israel before she moved to Berlin 1996 where she has been living since as a writer. For her novel The Have-Nots she received the German Book Prize.
