Vesna Čkovrić

Vesna Čkovrić, born in 1975 in Osijek, studied German Language and Literature at Belgrade University. Since completing her studies she has worked as a translator and interpreter and has worked for the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the publishing company, Politika Newspapers and Magazines. She has also run German courses at various educational institutions. Vesna Čkovrić contributed to the Serbian translation of the book Byzantinisches Erotikon [Byzantine Erotica], has translated two ‘weekend romance’ novels, published by Bastei, several programmes for the “Studio B” TV station, an article for the cultural magazine Reč and articles for the Kriminalistik magazine from the College for Criminalistics.
