Irena Nasi

Irena Nasi, born in 1978, studied German philology at the University of Tirana, with specializing in translation and interpretation. She currently works as the advisor to the Austrian Embassy in Tirana. She is also a literary translator. From German she translated works by authors Marie Luis Kaschnitz, Alfred Andersch, Bernhard Schlink, Christine Grän, Ingeborg Bachmann and Edgar Hilsenrath, whose book The Nazi and the Barber was published in her translation, with kind support of TRADUKI, for the first time in Albanian.
