Anila Shuka

Anila Shuka, born in 1970 in Vlora, Albania, studied Economic Sciences and Sociology at the Universities of Tirana and Hamburg. She then worked as a translator, editor and moderator for Albanian-speaking radio programmes of Deutsche Welle (Bonn) and of Westdeutscher Rundfunk (Cologne). From 2002 to 2010 she worked as a correspondent from Berlin. She has translated Hagen Schulze’s Kleine deutsche Geschichte (title of the English translation: Germany : A new history) into Albanian for TRADUKI.
