Marko Žarić

Marko Žarić was born in 1946. He finished German and Romance studies in Zagreb and Münster and he additionally studied at the Theological College in Zagreb and at the College for social work and social pedagogy in Osnabrück-Vechta. He has been an accredited translator and interpreter in Germany since 1975. He works as a translator, writer and photographer. He was living in Germany between 1973 and 2011. Among his published works are research papers, essays, critiques, polemics, reportages, poems, prefaces, epilogues, reviews, and photographs. He has translated 17 books that have been published in Germany and Croatia: his focus is on political books, novels, and expert literature on education and pedagogy.
