Cinober

Cinober by Pavle Goranović is a poetry collection that flows like a novel, rooted in the Mediterranean’s light and rhythm, exploring memory, childhood, and the universal in the local. The poet titled the book after the color of the old, elegantly collapsed roofs of Nikšić, as he indicated in his Unfinished Epitaphs to Nikšić Poets. The collection, which essentially represents his extracted memory, was more closely defined by the poet with the subtitle: Poems about lost seasons, about things that will unjustly outlive us, about vain knights, cities, love, dreams, books and something else…
