Emilija Tomovska-Bojkovska, born in Skopje in 1963, is a full professor at the Blaže-Koneski Faculty of Philology at the University of Skopje. Her teaching and research areas are linguistics and translation studies. After obtaining her Master’s degree from the University of Belgrade in 1994, she completed her PhD at her home university in 2002. In 2007, she won the Božidar Nastev Prize for the best literary translation into Macedonian for her translation of Hermann Hesse’s “Der Steppenwolf” (Степскиот волк). She has been an accredited European Union interpreter since 2011.
