All eight stories in this book are about travelling. And none of these journeys are really about travelling and moving from one place to another. Sasa Ilić is not courting readers, he is looking for interlocutors and allies to get out of the impasse that Serbia slid into in the 1990s and from which it cannot get out, even in the noughties.
