Kristina Jurkovič

Kristina Jurkovič, born in Munich in 1970, studied German and Latin at Ljubljana university. After completing her studies she worked for the Slovenian Writers’ Association, and later on for the bookstore Libris and the publisher Modrijan. Since 2010, she lives as a freelance cultural worker, writing for different magazines as well as literature reviews for radio. Since 2007, Jurkovič also serves as a tutor for the Premuda Summer School (Literary Translation German-Slovene/Slovene-German). Jurkovič lives and works in Ljubljana.
