The world described in Marianna Georgieva’s poems is painful, inhumane and two-faced, just as the world that we have to live in – if we want to or not. It is a world of prisoners, cast-outs, and refugees. A world full of trauma, injustices, and destroyed nature. In her poetry collection ausweg, Georgieva performs a vivisection of Bulgarian society as well as humanity in general.

The poetry collection ausweg is the final and last volume in the tradukita poezio series, young poetry from Southeast Europe. The series is a collaboration between the Traduki network and Edition Korrespondenzen.
