Te pup în fund, conducător iubit!

Daniel Bǎnulescu’s novel Te pup în fund, conducător iubit! [I Kiss Your Ass, Beloved Leader!] tells of three groups during the fading Ceauşescu era. First, there is the group of burglars and thieves in Bucharest who are so skilled that they could steal the blood from your own body or the plaster from the walls. The second one is the environment around Nicolae Ceauşescu. He gathers as many contradictions as a hedgehog has spines. The third group, that of the young writers, is represented by Daniel and Clipsy, a pair of lovers. Who will stand up to the dictator?
