Revolution für das Leben. Philosophie der neuen Protestformen

In times of crisis, political engagement gathers momentum. Protest movements such as Black Lives Matter, Fridays for Future and NiUnaMenos are fighting against racism, climate catastrophe and violence against women worldwide. As different as they may seem, these resistance movements share a common goal: saving lives. At its core, their fight is directed against capitalism, which is destroying our livelihoods by turning living nature into dead matter – all in the name of profit and property: Capitalism ruthlessly exploits us and our planet. Eva von Redecker, a philosopher who researches questions of critical theory and who grew up on an organic farm, makes out the beginnings of a revolution in the newly formed ways of protest.
