Leon i Leonina ili Priča o istrajnosti

The first chapter of the adventure story for children Leon i Leonina ili Priča o istrajnosti [Leon and Leonina or The Story of Perseverance] was written by Svetlana Slapšak in October 1981 as a birthday present for a young friend. Every week, new chapters were added. Every Friday she read the stories to the boy and incorporated his ideas into the continuation of the story. The result was a 700-page book full of adventures, which was published about two years later as a two-part children’s book.
