Uwe Wittstock

Uwe Wittstock, born in 1955, is a German literary critic, editor and author. He was literary editor in the feature section of the FAZ, editor for German-language literature at S. Fischer Verlag, cultural correspondent for Die Welt in Frankfurt am Main and head of literature at Focus magazine. In 2023, his book “February 33: The Winter of Literature” was nominated for the Prix du Livre Européen.
