Tamara Bach

Tamara Bach, born in Limburg an der Lahn in 1976, studied English and German in Berlin. Her first book, Marsmädchen, was awarded the Oldenburg Children’s and Young Adult’s Book Prize while still unpublished. After its publication it received the German Youth Literature Prize. Further books and awards followed, including the Catholic Children’s and Young Adult’s Book Prize in 2013 for Was vom Sommer übrig ist. In 2014, her book Marienbilder was on the international White Ravens shortlist. Tamara Bach lives and writes in Berlin.
