Born in besieged Sarajevo in 1992, Selma Asotić first studied comparative literature in her hometown and later completed her master’s degree in Boston, MA. From 2017 to 2021, she published the feminist theory and arts magazine BONA in Sarajevo. Say Fire is her award-winning debut. Selma Asotić lives in the United States.
