Sasha Marianna Salzmann

Sasha Marianna Salzmann studied literature/theatre/media at the University of Hildesheim and theatre writing at the Berlin University of the Arts. She is a playwright, essayist and dramaturge and was co-founder of the culture magazine freitext. She has been an in-house playwright at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin since the 2013/2014 season and was artistic director of Studio Я until 2015. Her plays are performed internationally and have won several awards. In 2017 she published her debut novel Außer sich.
