Robert Simonišek

Robert Simonišek, born in Celje in 1977, is a Slovenian author, poet, literary critic and art historian. He studied philosophy and art history and did his PhD on the artistic movements of the fin de siècle. He is the author of several volumes of poetry, including Potopljeni katalog (2003) and Avtoportret brez zemljevida (2008), the short story collection Melanholična zrenja (2011) and the monograph Slovenska secesija (2011). He also translates from the English.
