Petar Andonovski

Petar Andonovski, born in 1987 in Kumanovo, studied Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje. His first volume of poetry was published in 2008. This was followed by the novels Очи со боја на чевли (2013) and Телото во кое треба да се живее (2015). In 2018 he published the novel Страв од варвари (Fear of Barbarians) for which he won the EU Prize for Literature in 2020. Petar Andonovski’s poems and short stories have appeared in several literary journals.
