Nikolina Andova Šopova

Nikolina Andova Šopova, born in 1978 in Skopje, studied Macedonian and South Slavic Literature at the University of Skopje. Amongst her publications are the collections of poetry Влезот е од другата страна [The Entrance Is on the Other Side] from 2013 and Поврзи ги точките [Join the Dots] from 2014. Her poems were also published in an anthology of Macedonian haiku. With her first book, the poetry collection Влезот е од другата страна, Nikolina Andova Šopova won the ‘Bridges of Struga’ Prize for the best debut, which was awarded to her by the UNESCO together with the ‘Poetry Nights of Struga’ Poetry Festival.
