Maja Matić

Maja Matić, born in Vienna in 1965, grew up in Frankfurt am Main, Belgrade, and Bonn. Since 1989, she has been working as a Language Assistant at the Institute for German at Belgrade University. Matić is a member of the Serbian Conference Interpreters’ Association and Literary Translators’ Association. Her translations into Serbian include works by Peter Sloterdijk, Hans Martin Gauger, George L. Mosse, Viktor Klemperer, and Marcel Bayer. Her translations into German include works by Svetislav Basara, Miroslav Savićević, and Zoran Đinđić.
