Ksenija Premur, born in 1962 in Zagreb, studied Philosophy and Russian at the Philosophical Faculty in Zagreb. She gained her first master’s degree in Ljubljana with a philosophical paper, in 1997 she gained a master’s degree in Zagreb with a paper on the topic of translation theory. Ksenija Premur was a lecturer at the College for Music in Lovran and a junior assistant at the University of Zagreb. She also took part both at home and abroad in scientific symposia and published scientific articles and books. In addition to her work as a scientist, Ksenija Premur has also written novels, stories and volumes of poetry. Since 1981 she has translated scientific and literary works from English, Russian and Slovenian.
