                                                                            Jörg Fauser, born in Bad Schwalbach im Taunus in 1944 as the son of the artist Arthur Fauser and the actress Maria Razum, was a freelance writer and journalist. He wrote reportages, essays and poems, radio plays, screenplays, stories and song lyrics. His best-known publications include the novels “Rohstoff” (1984), “Das Schlangenmaul” (1985) and the poetry collection “Trotzki, Goethe und das Glück” (1979). Fauser died in a car accident in 1987.
