Irina Deretić

Irina Deretić is the Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Belgrade. She studied Philosophy at the Philosophical Faculty at the University of Belgrade, and at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. She gained her Ph.D. at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade with a paper on Plato and qualified as a professor with a paper on Platons und Aristoteles` Konzeptionen von Logos [Plato’s and Aristoteles’ ideas of Logic]. She now teaches the History of Philosophy there. She is also the Manager of a project financed by the Serbian Ministry of Science, about the History of Serbian Philosophy.
