Hartmut Rosa

Hartmut Rosa was born in 1965 in Lörrach. He is a professor for General and Theoretical Sociology at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena and serves as the director of the Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies in Erfurt. The main points of his research are the Sociology of Modernity, Time Diagnoses, Communitarianism, the Likelihood of Mobilising Citizen Engagement, as well as the Philosophy of Science of Social Sciences.
