Georgi Bardarov

Georgi Bardarov is a lecturer in demography and ethno-religious conflicts at St Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia. He was born in the village of Kulata, but has lived in Sofia since childhood. His debut novel Аз още броя дните [I’m Still Counting the Days] became a bestseller in his native Bulgaria. Four years later, Bardarov’s novel Absolvo te was published, which won the 2021 European Union Prize for Literature.
