Flavius Ardelean, born in 1985 in Brașov, is a Romanian fantasy author and translator from German and English. He is a member of the Horror Writers Association and a drummer in various rock bands. He has won the Romanian Colin Award for fantastic literature twice for his novels. He was also nominated for Best European Debut at the Festival du Premier Roman in Chambery, France, and twice for Best New Writer at the Young Writers Gala in Bucharest.
