Eugène

Eugène, born in Bucharest in 1969, came to Switzerland at the age of seven and grew up near Geneva. Since completing his humanities studies, he has been working as a writer, journalist and playwright, He also teaches at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel. Ein unfassbares Land oder Die zwanzig Dinge meiner Kindheit was his first book in German translation, it received the Listener Award of the West Swiss Radio in 2008. Eugène lives in Vaud.
