Đorđe Lebović

Đorđe Lebović, born in Sombor in 1928, was a Serbian writer, playwright and screenwriter. He died in Belgrade in 2004. In 2005, his novel Semper idem was published posthumously. In the novel Lebović wrote about his childhood in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia on the eve of the Second World War. Forty members of his family perished in the Holocaust.
