Danica Janković

Danica Janković was born in 1949 in Mokrin (township Kikinda, Vojvodina). She studied German Language and Literature at Belgrade University and has lived in Montenegro since 1972. As a  translator and interpreter, she works for the Montenegrin government and the Yugoslavian consulate in Mannheim, among others. She currently works for the German consulate in Podgorica.

Danica Janković has translated  “Das Gold von Caxamalca” [Stories] by Jakob Wassermann, among others, and literary texts from various journals.
