Damir Šodan 

Damir Šodan was born in 1964 in Split. He studied English studies, history, and literature at the University of Zagreb. He has written three books of poetry, several theatre plays, and has translated numerous US poets into Croatian. He writes for various literary magazines and is a co-publisher of the Feral Tribune Edition. His play Zaštićena zona has been translated to German and published under the title Schutzzone [Protected Zone] by the publishing house Folio from Vienna. Damir Šodan works and lives in Den Haag.
