Bojidar Manov

Prof. Dr. Bojidar Manov, born in 1947 in Sofia, is a film critic and journalist. He teaches at the New Bulgarian University and runs the Department for Cinema Studies at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art in Sofia. From 2001 to 2005 he was Vice-President of the International Film Critics’ Association FIPRESCI. Bojidar Manov published a series of scientific works. As part of the TRADUKI translation grant, he translated the novels Разговор со Спиноза by Goce Smilevski and Единствен матичен број by Lidija Dimkovska, both from Macedonian into Bulgarian.
