Anja Tuckermann

Anja Tuckermann was born in 1961 in Berlin. She still lives there, working as a freelance writer. She writes fiction books and plays as well as texts for films and songs. She teaches writing and moderates writing seminars for prose and theatre. Through her activities in the feminist girl’s work and her work at a children’s radio station, she started writing for young readers. Her works have been translated to several languages and awarded with numerous prizes and grants.
