Angel Igov (born 1981) is a Bulgarian writer, translator, and journalist living in Sofia. To date, he has published three novels as well as collections of stort-stories and essays. For his work he has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Elias Canetti Prize. Among his translations into Bulgarian are books by Paul Auster, Martin Amis, Angela Carter, Ian McEwan, and T. S. Eliot. Igov teaches English Literature and Translation at Sofia University.
