Andreas Weber was born in 1967. He studied biology and philosophy in Berlin, Freiburg, Hamburg and Paris. As a freelance writer, journalist and editor, he has been since 1994 contributing articles for major magazines and newspapers, including GEO, Merian, Die Zeit, mare and the Greenpeace Magazine. In his literary non-fiction books, he opposes the mechanical interpretation of the phenomenon of life. He develops a new view on the living as a phenomenon of feeling self-expression and of a productive ecology. Andreas Weber lives with his family in Berlin.
