Ana Đokić

Ana Đokić, also Ana Đokić Pongrašić, was born in 1965 in Belgrade, Serbia. She studied philosophy and is author of childrens’ books, radio plays, theatre plays, young adult fiction, novels – she says she likes to write “anything, you name it”. For her works, she received the Mato Lovrak Prize in 2002 and the Marin Držić Prize in 2006. Ana Đokić is a member of the Croatian Writers’ Association, of the Croatian Theatre Artists’ Society, of the Société des auteurs et compositeurs dramatiques (Paris/Brüssel/Montreal) and of the association Knjiga u centru.
