Alfred Leskovec

Alfred Leskovec, born in 1959 in Idrija, studied Philosophy and German Language and Literature at the Philosophical Faculty in Ljubljana. From 1993 to 2006 he was an external employee of the translation service at the Office of the President of the Republic of Slovenia and at the Slovenian Ministry for Internal Affairs. Alfred Leskovec has worked as a freelance translator since 1993 and as a reader for the German Language in the Department for Philosophy of the Philosophical Faculty in Ljubljana. His translation of Ein Meister aus Deutschland: Heidegger und seine Zeit [A Master from Germany: Heidegger and his Time] appeared in 2010 in Slovenia.
