Miliarderi

In this novel, the Kosovar civil rights activist, politician and journalist Veton Surroi, tells the story of one day during the hyperinflation in Kosovo in 1990s. He presents a cross-section across the urban, Albanian-speaking Kosovar society of that time and shows how the people experienced the oppression of the Milošević regime, how they tried to survive in their daily life and how they faced the growing doubts if there is future for them in Kosovo.
