A man who loves glaciers so much that their dying makes him fall into despair: Zeno devoted his life of a glaciologist to a glacier in the Alps. When it is clear that his glacier would die, he joins a cruise ship and explains to the tourists the wonders of the Antarctic. However, during the trip the ignorance of the holiday makers, their non-existing respect for the foreign world and the advancing ice melting make him even more desperate. A poetical and passionate novel about the nature’s grandeur and about the dangers our world is faced with.
