Herfried Münkler

Herfried Münkler, born 1951, is Professor for Political Sciences at the Humbolt University, Berlin and is a member of The Academy of Science, Brandenburg. With his many scientific works on political conceptual history and war theories he has become a distinguished author. A number of them are now standard works, as “Macchiavelli” (1982), “Violence and System” (1993), “The new Wars” (2002), “The new Gulf War” (2003) and “Empires” (2005).
