Mile Stojić, born in 1955 in Dragičina, studied Yugoslavian Literature in Sarajevo. He was joint-editor of the literary magazines Lica and Odjeci and editor of the first post-Socialist Croatian magazine Tjednik. After his escape from Sarajevo in 1992, he worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Slavonics Institute of the University of Vienna for ten years. Mile Stojić has published numerous  anthologies of lyrics. Today, he lives in Sarajevo as a poet, essayist, culture subeditor and editor.
